I have been birding many years across much of North America. I've been an active birder most of my life. I retired to the Cumberland Plateau of east Middle Tennessee several years ago. In these pursuits, I am not averse to using audio attractants or playback as a means of determining the presence of important species.Ĭross Mountain (Campbell Co)-Cumberland TrailheadĬross Mountain (Campbell Co.)-Goldenwing Mt.Ĭross Mtn.-Tower Rd.-Grissel Branch Bowl It is world-renowned for its breeding populations of Cerulean Warbler. With elevations that reach up to over 3400 ft., and dominated by mixed-hardwood forest, this are is rich in resident and migrating warblers. I primarily focus my birding efforts on the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee (Anderson and Campbell Counties). My primary interest is in warblers, and most of my birding is in pursuit of these gems of creation. After 4 decades of birding, my North America Life List stands at 558 species. Greetings! I am an active “seasoned citizen” and a pretty-passionate birder. Please contact us with any comments or suggestions you have.

We want to hear about your experiences with Birdingpals. A lunch and/or a small gift would also be appropriate, something as simple as a souvenir of your country, or a pin from your local birding club. A local Pal does not get paid, but should he/she offer to take you out birding, using their own vehicle, it would be courteous to pay for the fuel. It is a privilege to contact them, and your message should reflect it. Please note that most Birdingpals are serious birdwatchers. If for any reason you are unable to do this, the least you must do is contacting the local Pal right away. Using the Birdingpal resources you must agree to the following: If you contact a local Birdingpal and make arrangement to go birding, you should note it is common courtesy to make sure you show up for the appointment.
